ENGLISH DESIGN LABORATORY ANNOUNCES FREE “FAB LABS”
PERFECT FOR THE FASHION CURIOUS TWEEN OR TEEN!

ATLANTA (January 12 , 2007) – Think your tween or teen has a passion for fashion? Find out at English Design Laboratory (EDL), Atlanta’s premiere school for young fashionistas. Beginning in 2007, EDL will offer FREE introductory Fashion Basics Laboratories, “FAB-LABS,” on the third Saturday of every month from 2:30pm to 4pm.

Under the direction of founder Karron English, a fifteen-year veteran of the fashion industry, budding designers get a glimpse into the world of fashion. The excitement begins as girls select their favorite trend from a variety of theme-based concept boards such as Swim Chic, The Eyes Have It, Prep School and others. Using materials provided, participants then design a unique look from head to toe that reflects their own personal sense of style.

“We think of our FREE FAB-LABS as a “swatch” of EDL’s design classes, giving girls an opportunity to see how exciting, fun and rewarding fashion can be,” said founder Karron English.
