ENGLISH DESIGN LAB (EDL) ANNOUNCES LONDON/PARIS TRIP
ATLANTA (January 12, 2007) – English Design Laboratory (EDL), Atlanta’s
premiere fashion school for tweens and teens, is planning a ten-day
summer trip to Paris and London, June 18 – 27, as part of its annual
“Destination: Design” program, an annual fashion excursion tailor made
for all girls with an interest in fashion design.
“EDL is committed to providing real world experiences for those
considering a career in fashion design,” said founder Karron English.
“Through the Destination:Design program, participants are exposed to
design trends, cultural diversities and the daily, behind-the-scenes
workings of the fashion industry.”
EDL and EF Customized Tours have put together a comprehensive itinerary
that includes visits to traditional, “not-to-be-missed” sights as well
as preeminent design centers. Girls will enjoy guided tours in both
cities, with stops at Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Victoria and Albert
Museum in London, and the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame
and the Louvre in Paris. As if that isn’t enough, rounding out the tour
will be stops at St. Martian College of Art and Design, WGSN Trend
Service and Parsons School of Design. All in all, this promises to be
EDL’s best Destination:Design tour yet.
